How do you even go about breaking a coil anyways? Coming down on it to hard?

mine was coil bind from flexing.

Its when you compress the spring so far the coils compress together and break They should never touch each other.

Lift is just how you want your jeep to sit. Nothing else. Tires and flex have nothing to do with lift.
I can run no lift at all and would not loose any flex, and my 33" tires would still be fine.
That is why I am lowering my jeep an inch.
A Cherokee's fender well only holds a 30" tire. Any larger tire and you will have to modify.

The trick is perfect shock length, bump stop height, and backspacing.

I run 10.5 wide tires so they tuck up inside the fender wells with 1.5" spacers to keep the inner tire from rubbing the lca's . You can run a 12.5 but your back spacing has to be perfect as well as running zj lca's .

My front fenders are trimmed 1.25”. Flares are in the stock location so you can not see anything.
Also the fenders pinch seams have been cut and hammered flat, as well as no more plastic fender well liner. Rear has been cut on the outer lower edges.

Fortunately is does not cost much to have great suspension that will out work any kit you can even buy for short arms. Just takes some time to properly set up everything.

My suggestion is to stay under 3" of lift. No more is ever needed except for looks.

Well I'm at about 4.5 or so already with 31's. I'm wanting to either go to 32x11.50 or 33's not sure what width though. I'm just trying to figure out how to budget the re-gear along with the tires. Can I get by without re-gearing right away? I have the 35 but I'm also looking for the 8.25 but haven't ruled out the 8.8. Any ideas on the cheapest way to get to bigger tires faster? I have Jks adjustable upper and lower control arms up front and plan on adding drop brackets and going with jcr's 1 ton steering upgrade. 2" ome coils with 2" spacers. Rear is 3.5" ome springs with Jks boomerang shackles(1" lift) also want to go with relocation brackets. Any suggestions at all would be great.
