i run a hack n tap setup. when they are installed correctly they work great. i have had mine on for about 3 years now without a single issue. if u think about it an SYE and hack n tap are the same the SYE just comes with a new main shaft thats shorter that the yoke bolts to. the hack n tap you just save money and cut it yourself and bolt the yoke down. i always highway drive my rig just about every month 300 miles, and i havent wheeled it recently because of other issues that need to be fixed. but when i did wheel it, i had no problems at all.

Guess we'll give the h&t a shot for now, since it's already coming. Of everything I'm reading here and elsewhere, it seems if it's done right, the h&t will suit our needs for now. It was good to get a better understanding of things. Thanks.

I run the hack n tap too. No complaints with it. I just need a longer driveshaft due to my lift. Other than that, it's all good.
