I'd rather Regear the eat transmissions. Better low end, less stress on the trans and better mpg. I average 19 mpg on 35"s. I call b.s. on the 15 mpg on 33"s I was getting that on my old one with 31's and everyone I know that hasn't regeared on 33"s is lucky to get 12 mpg.

I think I'm gonna go 4.10's just to make it a lil better all around that way I can do a 31-33" tire and it won't be a dog Im used to driving somthing with a lil pep lol this thing with 31's isn't the best but it's not a total dog. I plan on cutting some lbs to with alloys on the new tires that should help some acceleration and braking times since 1 lb of rotating weight is like 10 lbs of dead weight. Not expecting it to be a f1 car but I wanna beat,e to pass easily ect

Look for quotes for bare axles out of the jeep should be more like $200 per axle. You just gotta strip and remove them then re assemble them

You'll need more then that in tools just to try it, and then you have no one to blame when you eat pinion bearings or a gearset. Wanna ask how I know?

Anyone know the tread pattern for the headlight adjustment screws on a '98? I was trying to adjust and stripped out the head.
