almost pick up this '00 today. the seller will take my '92 junk plus $1400 cash. always wanted a 2 doors. im tempted to just buy the xj out right from him if his price is right.

 

threw a header on to replace my cracked one and it's so weird now that it's quiet. I hear all these other things. Also installed some brown dog motor mounts and painted some things.

Well I found out when I was loading my motorcycle that I have a broken rear leaf spring shackle. And I have to drive it from Iowa to Chicago tonight or tomorrow. I will get it fixed this weekend. I should be fine as its the rear one. But hopefully nothing goes wrong on the trip. Its all highway and is pretty much a straight shot. And I'm not planning on going very fast anyways.

Ugggh.... had a guy come over today to look at trading the Waggy for an XJ. He rolls up in a completely rotted out 91. It was smoking and dripping anti-freeze in my lot. The interior was thrashed and full of oil, anti-freeze and food containers. It smelled like cigarettes, wet dog and rotten food.

The guy looks over my Waggy and tells me he would trade his XJ and $1k to take it. He says he doesn't really want it, but needs something to pull his trailer so he can expand his landscaping business.

I told him that I would only give him $300 cash, as I didn't want to lose anymore money at the scrapyard after I cleaned his POS out.

He got pissed, slammed his door and rust chunks fell off. He tried tossing gravel with his bald tires... the only thing the Jeep did was backfire and lurch slowly into the road.

Morons, I tell you... Morons
