Having dealt with these guys several times, you get a feel who is going to be a dick and who is going to be okay...

I would prefer Trail Quest over Trails West any day of the week.

Oh, nothing meant by my comment. I was only trying to state that if I was going to have any work done at this point, I would go to Trail Quest before going back to Trails West...

YMMV

Yea thats cool. If they are dicks i dont want to use them. They probably charge out the hole anyways. I didnt even know that it was you man hows it been? I havent seen you on here in a while. We should go for a ride again sometime. Im still on my Street tires lol. Hows your jeep running?
Ive got my stuff to lift it again 2". Hopefully next time i wont come close to stalling it out. Im looking into a snorkel after that little mishap.

Do you know anybody good that can install gears and a locker??? Thats the one project i know i have to take to a shop for.

I see you profile pic is still from that day. Is it still blocked off??? I havent even went back there just like i promised.

Jeep is running good. The last person i knew who did Gears and Lockers worked through Trail Quest, and he was happy with the way things wend down.

And to answer your question, just within the last month or so, it is open again.

And just because you gave me a complex, i changed my pic

Got home today and parked the jeep, something smelled funny, looked under my passenger wheel well and theres antifreeze everywhere. Looked around under the hood and i cant find a single obvious sign of antifreeze leakage. Any ideaS?

cracked a radiator. Happened to me. Only leaked under pressure. it only under pressure when its hot. Check the passenger side of the radiator on the side not the front or back.

if you remover the grill and start your jeep and let it warm up you can access where im talking alot easier if you can reach your hand around the ac condenser. This happened to me just before winter. Went to go camping halfway there it leaked all over the gas station. I made it home tho. Never overheated had plenty of coolant when i got home still in the radiator. If it was a hose it would leak weather it was on or off unless all the coolant drained out.

yeah im guessing it is the side of the radiator core, i checked my oil and have no visible signs of water(coolant) in it. It got me home from WV like a champ with me not knowing anything had happened.

It prolly blew close to home if you didnt overheat and not smelled it untill you got home. Its not big deal if you didnt overheat. how much coolant you got left???

So i brought it into our shop and put it up on the rack, **** ton of fluid everywhere on the passenger side, i dropped in the resevoir to the fill line. i pulled the grill face off and peaked around and saw nothing obvious. i filled the resevoir back up and ran the jeep on the rack for about a half hour and had zero leaking fluid and the coolant didnt drop in the resevoir. i did see a 1/4inch pvc male fitting on the bottom of the passenger side of the radiator. it was not close off but there was alot of moisture around that area. anyone have an idea what that is???

Check good if its a crack its hard to see. Mine was spurting fluid at the gas station but when i ran it and watched it it only slowly leaked. You gotta rev you engine and run it to have it gush fluid like on the road.
