San Antonio XJ's
So with spcers, and shackles, I want to add an inch or two. Worth doing? Also need to get an actual bumper for the front as my redneck rigged one is simply beginning to look ugly. Pick'n pull? Someone got a spare? XD

I was just at this little path behind Exxon, the kind of place you never think anything could happen, until you take a turn a little too fast and hit a bump.
I'm not parting it out, gonna try to get it fixed, it's just a question of can I afford it, which I'll do anything I can to be able too, this Jeep saved my life, I owe it that much. However, if the damage is worse than I fear... I'm swapping the axles to another one, along with a whole bunch of other parts. Mechanicly it's actually excellent, no puddles under it at all, so no leaks, and the suspension and steering feel like I just got an alignment... greanted I did just get one, but it held, there's only body damage. Also thanks everyone, I'll keep you posted on what happens next, gonna be awhile though, this weekend I'm gonna try to open the hood so I can see if anything in the engine bay took damage, right now the front clip is blocking it.

Shackles and spring blocks are the way to go for a budget life. Don't do lift blocks for the leaf springs, shackles give you better everything. As far as bumper, they only have stock bumpers no after market, or brush guards (that some XJ's come with). I was there two weeks ago. Unless you want a stock bumper? They have plenty of those, painted, or chrome.

I found what I'll get if she can't be saved, there's something epic near me-

I'd still rather save Chery though, I've been through too much with it, but if it's too expensive...

I just placed the order for my new cylinder head, gasket and head bolts. Looks like the old girl will be up and running sooner than later. Looking forward to getting her out and about after a long rest.
