The guy who changed the knuckles recommended this other place down Pat Booker, I don't remeber the name of it, just where it is, I'll see the name tomorrow. Even after all the extra work, I was still only charged the original quoted price.
Afternoon gents, saw the topic and meeting an account, I live out in converse, and work at he autoxzone on pat Booker, you may have seen my xj with zombie decals running around. Thought I'd say hello and such.
Today was a happy day- finally got my Jeep back! Now she just needs an alignment tomorrow. Also, Cleenrob- let me know if you need any help with the lift, I don't really know much as far as what to do but an extra set of hands can't hurt, right? I'm off tomorrow so I may be able to help out after I'm done getting an alignment. I also made a small upgrade, next time we see each other, you'll see it.

Welcome to the site then, always good to have more of us around.
Well, I bout the thing in California while I was stationed there, at first I had Ecuador problems, transfer case literally exploded. But after all that, I got it lifted 3" and did an intake and exhaust on it. Had a chance to d a snow run up in big bear on the Black diamond trails. Had a blast, and never got stuck. Was a blast. Since moving back home I haven't found any decent trails, or even back roads to have fun on without breaking the thing. It is still my daily driver. As far as not seeing it, I park in the back of the lot, and it doesn't sit monstrously high. But by all means, stop by and ask for the zombie/Jeep guy. XD

Ok so I'm pretty stoked. I got approved for a project for my school internship. So I'm building a dune buggy lol I'm going to make a build thread for it to since it's going to take a long time.
Welcome! Never seen your XJ, I go Lakeview right there, i'll come by next time I need some parts

Welp, now that I'm feeling a little better about it, I'll say a little more- I rolled my Jeep, I was taking a turn and there was a bump with loose dirt in it, after I hit that it went out of control and tumbled end over end, it doesn't look pretty, but I'm confident she can be saved, I've seen worse brought back.

As for me, I'm fine, didn't even get a scratch, so Chery saved my life here, I owe it at least trying to get it fixed up.
