Kinda leaning toward the 2000, I'd like to build one myself, not deal with someone else's lift... but at the price, I don't know.
Also apparently the 2000 has a V8, and the '97 a V6 disguised as an I6.

Id go with the black one if it drives well. If the lift was done right you will save some $ even if you have to do a few repairs. Just my .02

id go for the 97. its instantly wheelable and cheeper and no 0331 head

And more likely to have the hp D30 and 8.25.

Have any of y'all used the Fel-Pro head bolts? I found some on Summit Racing for $40.

i havent done it yet but i got the paarts through big david. good guy to deal with everything comes with it in decent shape

yeah, I already put down my deposit on a kit just wanted to get some pointers on the install. supposed to get mine in march.

youve gotta open up the center to fit the c8.25 and swap the mounting studs. its very straigh forward. mine will be going on soon

how about we wrench on yours together and when mine get in it'll be that much easier on mine? 2 heads are better than one.
