So how important is it to use relays with off road lights? I was just thinking a heavy gauge wire and a fuseable link would do the trick..

With relays u get the full watage and u won't be burning out switches.

You also won't risk having that much power running into the cab. Keeps the power wires from the battery to the lights that much shorter, less power loss and brighter lights.

Relays aren't too expensive....to add a bit of safety to your vehicle.

alright guys, im going to buy some new tires. BFGoodrich Mud Terrain KM2 is what ive decided to go with. My question is im at basicly 4.5 inches of lift on my ZJ. 33s would clear fine but the 35s are $1 more. i do plan on going bigger in the near future. I also have a set of 35s i could throw on it just to see how much trimming i would to do. So what would you do???

Ok well 35 inch tires means that little dana 35 is gotta go. got me a 8.8 out of a ranger with 4.10s and its limited slip. as for the d30 up front, it already has the d44 axle u joints so i should be good with that one. just gotta get some 4.10s for it.
