I am ready to throw my 4.56 in the rear. Anyone know of a good R&P shop in the OKC area? I get quotes for 300 to do the install. The guy I have a number for that was gonna do it for 250 isn't answering. Even at 250 that sucks.

 

If I was closer I would help u do it. I had my boy installing ring and pinions by age 16.

 

It helps if you know what your doing in that aspect. Xtreme 4x4 makes it look like a cake walk.

I hear ya. 10hr days at work and I am about to start school again. Plus I am trying to get this Jeep finished...if it's ever really finsihed. I am anxious to drive it with 4.56 gears...should be a blast on 33s. The only reason it's not on 35s is MPG and I gotta drive a bit to all my hunting spots.

 

I'm kicking around the notion of stripping a few parts off my 99 xj and selling it. I just have too many tagged and insured vehicles .....I need a truck for towing, I found one ABS plan to buy it quick that means purple has to go. Any u guys with cash looking might say something. It will be lifted still, but I plan to keep my 32s .....just a heads up

 

What are you taking off the XJ?

 

Keeping my bumper and winch, the wheels and tires and my CB/ speakers. So I will sell it with stock wheels and tires, stock speakers ....still be lifted w sye kit will just need to have tires ready to go on (who ever buys it)

Ok I have had the fever for longer than I can handle.... we gotta find a place closer to wheel cause I wanna head out with y'all but I ain't got the gas to drive up there and play around cause my foot gets heavier when I'm in 4wheel..... I'm n school for collision tech during the week n workin on jeeps on the weekends so I really don't have time but like I said Ive had the fever for a while..... and I wanna get out n meet all y'all n put some faces to the names...

 

Okay for u local guys here is the offer before it hoes on craigslist and I get serious about selling it. Sold like this minus front bumper. I still have to pull the bumper, CB, and my kicker speaks.... 3800$ no mechanical issues its my daily driver.... I hate to sell it, but I'm getting a truck and a new car hauler...that means this one has to go.
