Drove up there today and got everything I need. Met a fellow jeeper from jeepforum helped me carry the 4 doors real nice guy. The pay pick n pull was 1 dollar entre but they had lots of Cherokees. I got everything I need from one though a nice 91

Damn Jeep...crack in manifold, and gearbox leaking, beyond repair apparently... this from two different shops.. Looks like $1000 worth of new parts and labor, and nothing fun about it...sux!! Sorry, had to vent..

Crap man... maybe you can get a Durango box from a junkyard or something? May as well upgrade if your going to replace it... your talking about the steering gear box, right?

Is what it is man, I am having them upgrade the gearbox to that used on a 1/2 ton pickup.. wasn't that much more expensive...

Hopefully I'll be getting Jeep back today or tomorrow. Getting ready to order the lift, just waiting on quote from RC. Gonna try to get it on before May rolls around. Wanna do some camping/light wheeling before it gets too hot..

If you need help with the lift i'm in pville and have done Cherokee lifts before
