Hey gents. I've been lurking for a while and ready to get started on my XJ.

So far I have a black 01 limited with a budget boost and AAL. Running 31'' muds on rubicon wheels.

Would like to meet up with you guys if you do any types of meets. I am looking for upgrades now, specifically a 4.5'' kit. Was thinking about the full traction long arm kit, but have to get the wife to approve that amount of cheese.

If anyone has any lift components for sale I'd appreciate a heads up. I'll be following this thread. Would like to come hit HF with you guys at some point too, used to ride DB's out there all the time but never been down a jeep trail. I know there are some good obstacles out there for sure though.

So when's the next beer gathering?

I actually got a Sunday off for once if anyone wants to meet then, although as for wheeling- I'm stuck in 2WD until I can regear the rear end... which may be a while.
Oops, wrong thread, thought I was posting that on the San Antonio one.

A Tuesday?! Ugh. That'd be hard to make. Lift is on and ready to rock. Sway bar is not quick disconnect yet, but a few turns if a wrench and I can get it off! I'm ready to hit sone trails sometime soon! As for an excuse to drink beer; who needs an excuse!

The meetings are the first Tuesday of every month. They wheel two to three times a month. They even hit uray and Moab. So far I'm the only xj.

Just lifted a grand last week. Moved the front springs to the rear used 4in rc wrangler springs in fron with new control arms. Came our pretty well. My buddy got about 5 inches out of it, best of all it was free for him.

Any one know someone who wants some rubi rims and tires. Picked up a set of 5 the guy told me the wrong year so they are a 5 on 5. Bolt pattern, lame. They would have been awesome.

No adapters kinda freak me out. Plus they are kinda expensive for what they do, I'd rather put that cash into other things on the jeep.

Turned out well. 5 broken bolts, so it was a bit of a pain. I still want to get extended brake lines and get some quick disconnects for the sway bar. But at least everything is functional. Had the alignment done, but I'm pulling to the right some. Fortunately I paid for a 2 year alignment deal.

Going to be selling some winch bumpers in about 2 weeks guys. I will have some photos of the "prototype" once it's finished and installed. Not making tube bumpers right now, but should be doing those too in a few months once I get a decent bender. We are building something that is the same quality or better as the Hanson bumpers which retail for over $650 and we plan to sell for around $400!!! We can do nonwinch also, but first batch will be winch due we can use my already made bumper templete for easier production. If these sell good plan on seeing some rear bumpers with swingout tire carriers for around $600!!! Let me know y'alls interest or what you would wanna see (style, price, etc) so I can get a better idea on the demand.
