Ha! OK, no beer for you then.. Yes, I had to get it into the shop for the header and gearbox, had No time to do it myself, and it had to be done for inspection by today.
I am getting ready to pick up wheel hub assembly's, so I wanna get those done before the lift, or at the same time.
What school do you attend? My son took a year or two of Auto Tech at Round Rock.. Not sure that I would trust them to do it right! lol.. What kind of time frame would I be looking at? time in shop?
Gonna do the 3" Series II Suspension, with full leaf springs from Rough Country.
Includes: 3" lifted coil springs, lower control arms, and sway-bar drop brackets. (4) RC N2.0 series shocks. also adding Performance 2.2 series replacement steering stabilizer as well.
I go to pflugerville high school. When we wrk we are monitored by our teacher. And if we f up the school bys for damages. If you were to take it to the shop it would take up to two weeks to do your lift. We only work an hour a day. If we did it on a weekend me and you. Wecoukd knock it out in a day or two deepening on the rust you have.
Also I'm currently saving for a decent mig welder(should have in a month or less) so I can redo my rockers and build my bumpers and axles. So Im think of building bumpers and selling them in the Austin area.
Another thing, my shop can do regears for cheap. Just food for thought

Right on.. I have to get everything ordered first.. I need to get the wheel bearings done before doing the lift, not expensive, but just gotta be done..
Would like to do lockers before the summer kicks into full swing, at least the rear, but would like to do both.

Shhhh... Idk how to do lockers. Lol I'm gathering parts for my build right now. I'm shooting for 44/60 full width with 36/37s on 6in 3 link. I plan on doing spools when ever I start building the axle which looks like it'll be 9 months or so since school is about to be out.
Phones-_- anyways I have never installed a locker. I'm sure my instructor can figure it out but Im not help. The rest of the last message is my build plans and how I'm going with spools instead of a locker for ease of installing.

Cool, no worries. I have to figure out which hub assemblies I need, as they changed mid model year on the 99'... I think my disk are cast, but just have to verify. Then to find a 36mm socket!! what the heck!! LOL... Looks like I'll be adding one to the tool box..
I'll get in touch with ya when we are close to doing the lift.

Which school in P-ville? I can totally install the leaves myself but after having already done them once a few weeks ago, meh why not.
What does the teacher charge for gear installs? I need to do 4.88s in my 30/8.25. For those that don't know, the 8.25 does require a special tool for setting the carrier preload. I can provide it for a big install one mine, tony's, whomevers, etc
