you must be looking into OME lifts, they're the only ones that i know that has an option anymore, unless 4wp brought back RE's heavy duty coils ha ha
but yes if you plan to carry alot of weight plus bumpers and such a heavy duty is used for that. but they ride like crap empty. if your just gonna be carrying the usual on the trail with every now and then loaded full of camping gear a medium duty will work.
what kit you looking at?

I'm not much help on this as I'm not 100% sure of the difference. I would think that its more than likely that the heavy duty would be for a heavier front bumper with a winch. Both offering about the same spring rate, but for two different applications. But like I said, I'm not completely versed on this so I'm just giving opinion.

Well I'll be looking into buying a locker first but still haven't decided if I want a E-locker or a full time or limited slip whatever they are... Cuz I really don't want a loud compressor or spend another 300$ on a compressor and tank... Any ideas what I should look into? I appreciate the help!!

So I decided to drive 111 miles today, would have been more but got stopped by snow
I probably opened up 7 miles of trail that was under snow, but I made it about a mile or two from my destination and could have kept going. But I hit a long deeper uphill stretch that I decided to stop at. If I would have had a winch or another rig I would have punched all the way through. Guess its time for a winch. LOL

X2, don;t waste your money on an LSD, if it already has one lock the other diff to start, but an LSD is a tight open diff IMO lol

flex wise I have no idea... I would just get the regual ones and expect 1/2-1" sag with bumpers recovery gear/winch ect... Most of the time, HD means it has a higher spring rate and is stiffer to accommodate for the extra weight, which makes me think they would be harder to flex. not always a bad thing depending on rear spring rate and suspension setup as balance is key!

For the rear? I would run a auto locker in the back, and save the $$ for a selectable up front. unless you can swing them front and rear... I love my spartan.
