Quote: Ya cory has a canvas top in mind but it will not have any doors. I would love one with doors and a top but we will see. It will also have to be a four seater.
I'm sure you would be able to make some doors maybe?????

Quote: It's like $30-$35 iirc, but once she's OHV it can never go back
Yes ,you can go back. Just fyi. the lady at the DMV said otherwise until she talked to her superior who said you could, And I personally know of a vehicle that was changed back, and is driven on the streets after 5-6 years of OHV use.

Quote: From what ive read and heard it can go back but it is a Royal PITA!!!!
From what my buddy said its not hard at all, just make it street legal and have a Highway Patrol inspect it for road use. then you can take off the OHV tag and register it for use on the street. sounded pretty simple to me. Given the vehicle isn't hard to make street legal again.

Quote: So it's not the map sensor :-/ Mabe o2 is the next place to go
the 02 sensor just fine tunes the fuel trims, I don;t see it causing your symptoms... but its not a hard swap. could be the coolant temp sensor (for the ecm) if it always thinks its cold it will run semi ok and bog with accel/die as it warms up. From what you said earlier, it sounds like there is a vacuum line/leak problem. found any vacuum line diagrams? does the fuel pressure regulator have vacuum so it bumps pressure off idle.

Quote: so it looks like i am getting rid of the jeep and going ohv with a trailer. i might work a trade with cory or see if i can get a sami buggy or xj buggy. what are your guy's thoughts? how much is it a year to register ohv?
depends on how they are built... Cory's is nice, I have never really been a fan of Sami's... but they can be cool when built right like any other rig.

from what I have seen OHV is simple, easy and not a hard proses other then the trailer and no street driving.

As far as roof/door, the roof would be a must for me, but a canvas top will take care of that, the door your could make some fabric snap on half doors to limit the wind/debrie in the wet months. I don't mind warm cloths and being outside... but I can see how that would be a turn off....

My temp sensor is broke I'll replace now but it does it now as soon as I start it and it smells rich

I could post some later. But on mine, there's only a few lines thar are plugged in, both ends, on the whole motor. And it ran like a swiss watch.

That thing plugs into the side of the air box. My jeep doesn't even have that anyone, from when I ditched the air box.

so on the trail today my fuse blew for the aux fan... i ended up wiring up the fan straight to the battery and it kept me at a cool 190 or so the whole trail. i guess the hood spacers helped a little. i smashed up my passenger side rockers a bit too here's some pics, the first two are where i smashed my rocker panel, theres a nice little cabin at the top of the trail, probably right in the middle of the whole trail with a lot of carvings inside it, so i added to it
