Yes a SYE is a slip yoke eliminator I really dont think you will need to adjust with 3" of lift get it put together and see if you have and drivetrain vibration's if ya dont i wouldn't worry about it.

no matter what I drive off road won't be a showtruck for very long and yes when you have factory disk break's on a 1 ton rear end ive heard that you need to be cool and bump up to 16's blah, blah, bladitty blah blah blam.

It will vibrate, most likely around 45-60mph and make a "hummm" noise from below your back seat, and could go away when your off the throttle. or get worse depending on the angle.... you could also most likely feel in in the seat of your pants. it not scary, not horrible. but after driving this way for extended amounts of time can go threw joints, and even pinion bearings/seals.
