Derlick, you are never apart of anything. Except drinking a 30 pack to yourself a night in Moab Club

I just spent the last little while looking back through this little thread of ours and had some thoughts. About a year ago, Ryan (builtnotbought89') and I had a discusion about one of us starting a thread for us northern Utah guys to get together, put together some runs and get to know one another. Here we are, a year later and 4400+ posts later I think its safe to say its worked out to be a pretty good decision. I'd like to raise my bottle of Squatters full suspension ale and toast all of the friends we have made, all the friends we will make in the future, as well as all the awesome runs we've been able to all be a part of this last year. I look forward to next years wheelin' and hope next year we can pull off expanding out a little and not only doing a Moab run but also get up into Cache Valley and do a run with the "way northern Utah" guys that might not always be able to make it down south for the runs. Thanks to all of you for making this the busiest thread in the four corners, and a great little cyberspace to spend some time in.

Cheer to that
I raise my... coffee because it is morning and I wouldn't do so good starting the day with a beer....

OK so yesterday I felt like giving a little more TLC to the jeep and changed the sway bar bushings (easy) and give a little greasing....
Then look into the coolant and flush it......
Then start inspecting hoses and removing one that had a severe nick in it and looked that it had to be replaced....
Then, thinking well I might as well change the thermostat.... so here, I start unbolting the housing.....
DANG bottom bolt snapped right away.........
So right now, the little SOB is soaking into PB blaster and I will try heat and vise grips later today if no...... well I am not looking forward to remove the front to be able to drill that.....
(Steve / ZeroCherokee, if you get a text from a 352 area code # it will be an invitation to come help me lol and a promise for beer and pizza most likely.)

Ya I would get a 3.5" lift some 31's and a lockright that would make your zj very capable
That's the setup I had for about 7months on my first zj and it went dam near everywere and I never had to worry about breaking anything
I liked my lockrite it was cheap,,easy to put in,and it worked great so I recommend it

Oh and Clayne just take off your rear sway bar when you lift it, you won't notice a difference in handling and get quick discos for The front when you go offroad or just unhook it completely. I drove around with no sway bars on my 3.5" lift and it wasn't bad at all
I could still do 110 on the freeway without DW or bad body roll.
Mike that sucks bro I'm sorry

Soooooo I broke the jeep

decided to go with the traditional drill and tap (i knew the time to learn how to do that was going to come....)
there was a piece of the bolt still sticking out so before doing that I took the chisel to it to make it flush with the block head .... right
It didn;t bread... what it did, it broke the head the red part circled on the picture is gone....
