a truss helps makes the tubes stronger. making the weight move from tube to tube and not using the diff as a leverage point. making it a stronger solid unit. some say its overkill until 37"+ tires. I just figure i only want to build it once and 100$ is cheap insurance.
not knocking your idea of a super 35 kit. but i would rather find a 8.25/D44 and put $1000 into it then a $1200-$1400 kit into a D35.and it says its only good to 35" tires... a 29 spline 8.25 is there right out the gate. but thats just me. a Super 35 kit would be a good upgrade.

Lil Moab today, three firsts in my life for me, got to ride along doing 100 miles an hour on a dirt track, a couple of pretty good jumps and a climb up a vertical wall that was sick as hell!!! The adrenelines still pumping!! Incredible machine!
Thanks to Jeff & Casey for hooking me up with one hell of a day!

I'm not much of a buggy fan, but Casey's is one I'd own. It's not ugly and actually looks good. Not to mention the 600 horse power it's got
lol. You were a lucky one that's for sure.

hey man i have a Warn Full Float kit on my dana 35, its comparable to the super 35 kit except it makes the shafts stronger because it puts all the weight on the hubs at the outsides of the axle.... i easily trust the shafts to hold up to 37" tire locked up, they are beefy as hell and chromoly with no weight being distributed on them. With that being said, i dont trust the Ring and Pinion to run a 33" tire locked up. no matter how much you beef it up its still has its major weak point. im currently swapping in an 8.8, dont waste money on your turdy 5. Im into my 8.8 exactly 190 dollars right now, thats with the complete axle, all the brackets, the truss, and new brakes.
