Don't listen to him! winches are for people who get stuck...

Your bumper looks great! I like how its clean and simple, tucked out of the way.

Good plan, lots to do before you "need" one. As long as you never go alone, and always bring a strap on you both have hook points its not a real need for a while. And its not hard to add later!
