Agreed, the problem is the organizations that oppose our sport love to use pics out of context, they wont look into whether it was on private property or not, they'll just print it up in a brochure or on a poster and say "See were right, this is the offroading community behaving badly"!
In my opinion no harm no foul, it's been handled. It was a misjudgement. It is imperative that we as a community do not shoot ourselves in the foot by posting up anything that might be questionable.
Quite frankly, I would'nt have even taken that (since removed) picture, private property or not the actions depicted were completely ignorant and irresponsible and thus do nothing but hurt our cause.

God kristies jeep has been kicking my A$$! The list of crap just keeps coming: motor, distributor placement, cps, track bar needed (DW), steering box leaks like a siv, shot axle shaft u joint (36mm seized!), pass. seatbelt, brake lines... the list goes on forever! Lol

I told her we shoulda got a nice lil stocker to fix up, but no...

 

actually it isn't an open ride area, its private property just like the rest of the area, buuuuut the owners look the other way right there because it has kept more people out of the fields and pits then when the whole area was off limits.
