Little moab is gonna be your closest wheeling spot to sandmountain. It's a ways north of it on the west side of UT lake... I found it by just using some directions I got via Google search, if you've never been there!

your closest bet would actually be either desert mountain or the delta trails. there is alot of wheeling outside sand mountain towards delta. plus its closer than lil moab.

Whats up guys? How are things going? Hows the baby Ryan? I havent been on here for a bit just thought I would say hello and hey..... So my father inlaw bought a 93 grand and needed to replace one of the wheel bearings. Now I wasn't outside when he and his brother tore the thing apart but somehow it ended up with them standing in the drive way with a torn apart rear diff and they do not know how to put it back together. I have not actually looked at it myself but they are having a hell of a time. If anybody is willing to help I can provide beer and pizza. I am located in Holladay.

pretty much head west straight out of delta and wander the desert

or it's easier to call the BLM field office and get their topo map of the area, it used to be free. then head out. there is a ton to do out there plus you can drive from the back side of sand mountain all the way there and back.
