Might just do that... Nice to meet others around the area. I do almost all my own work already. Have a couple fab projects coming the next couple months. I got a pair of Rocky Road rock sliders originally for a LJ Unlimited. Need to add 3" to each end. I have the material for that, then need to modify the body mounting. I also have some 3" square tube that I'm going to split into 3" angle. That will either be used only where the sliders mounts to the unirail, Or I might run it the length of the rail. Not decided yet. And lastly, I got a Detours USA Backbone winch mount for the ZJ. I'm thinking about using that as a basis for a bumper. Of course, that means I'll fab a radiator support since it will be more exposed. And, figure how to fab all that to include the factory skidplate too.
All bets for fabwork on the ZJ are off though, if I purchase a different rig for my daughter (Thinking a Subaru Outback). Then I can take the 90 XJ she is driving, and lift it and hack and fab to my hearts content...
And my Ranger, well, its losing the Dana 35 TTB stuff (won't stay in alignment after wheeling much), in favor of a long arm D30 setup. The Ranger is a 2.3L 5 speed truck, with 4.10s sitting on 33s. And 6" lift with baja type front fenders.
(I also need to fab a receiver hitch for my Neon as well, but thats a story for another forum...)

Thanks for all the quick replies guys! Im at 4.5" in front and looking for 2" raise in rear to accomodate for sag. Maybe i should wait (till i have more cash) and get a set of custom made springs. Someone told me to goto AAAsprings in SLC and they can make me a set up for any height. Tom if you remember i have blocks right now and you said to get rid of em. I will take a look at Ironman also. What are the "MJ" shackles? are those off a grand cherokee ? Thanks again, Chris

If you are ditching the blocks and need to make up for sagging springs i would just get a full leaf pack.
duhh, i should have known that. My cousin lent me a comanchee for 6 mo's. I should have bought it from him. But i was back living in northern illinois and neither one of us realized the rarity of those trucks. No public land in No. Illinois for off roading. Weak 4x4 scene.
