Is that to me if so cause imo leafs are just as flexy if set up right, cost is less, spring rate is easier to set up and just to be a little different I guess plus I have all the stuff to do it already at no cost

I'd agree if they are set up right you can get a lot of droop outta leafs, but I've never seen a set of leafs flex out like some long arms... Idk seems like more work than its worth. To each his own I guess!

Default Fatbobs shackles ????

Kinda noid by the sagging in my back end. I have a 4.5" lift and looking to bring the back up a little. Found these shackles on KSL from fatbobs garage. http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218...=1&search=jeep. Or i could get the teraflex for 80.00. Fatbobs claim adjustability from 1.5-2". Dont have the cash now for new leafs. Any experience or suggestions with the shackle upgrade?

thanks, Chris

how much more are you wanting/needing to raise it? and what's your budget? remember a cheap shackle is cheaply made. i would either go with jks's shackle or a relocation kit. since XJ shackle angles suck anyway. or you could do it really cheap and goto the junk yard and get some MJ shackles

Go online to Ironman fabrication and buy some of there extreme duty shackles sure they are like $129 but I'd stay away from adjustable part's in all reality its just one more thing to break on you...That is just my opinion
Sorry I'm still am not a fan of Teraflex..........They can make all there money off JK's in my opinion ,Show up 2 there shop in a beat up Cherokee and see how quick they help you.

Been a long time since I've been on here. Lots going on, and really just a mess of life... I had my knee replaced in November. Those I went to Rattlesnake with in June might recall my limping. While I was recovering, my wife spent all of December in either a hospital or a nursing facility. But, thanks to physical therapy and an excellent orthopedic doc, I start riding a bike in January on my indoor trainer. Weather was nice enough to get my MTB out and ride it a little in Feb. Been playing racquetball the last two weeks. And I'm going to start jogging...

Last fall my ZJ started pulling really bad to the left and I think its more than just the bad left unit bearing. Didn't do any work before the surgery on the Jeep, and only now feel ready to spend a lot of time on the ground while working on anything. Then I can get my Ranger running after the ZJ...

Looks like I've missed a lot of fun here!!! And a new guy in Tooele too...
