Hard to diagnose without looking at it, my first thought is with Ryan on the worn mounts idea. The only way the center of the fan could contact the radiator is if the engine moves forward, the radiator moves back or something holding the fan on has failed allowing it to thread off and contact the radiator. Just my random thoughts.

ya my fan would hit the fan shroud and tear it up, i knew it was only a matter of time before it fought with the radiator so i replaced it with e-fan. no problems since then. Alright thanks jeff ill check them out!

Be sure to notice the photographic proof of Pullman making Waynes world, yeah he did it and was sure if he just told you you wouldn't believe him.

but it could move forward going down a steep decent... not saying this is happening but the play could be front-back not side to side? just more random thoughts... a newer style fan with 12 IIRC blades should worka nd use the same mounting points as the shroud...? havent tried it yet but was thinking about trying it. they looked very similure when i had them out.

My thought exactly, my 98 had completely worn out motor and trans mounts. I'd start there, and dont skimp, do them all at the same time, ask me how I know.

just got home, zach, BTB and the dude in the blazer(forgot his name) decided to campout there with cory and jeff. it was great meeting you guys, playing bumper cars with zach and watching BTB take my jeep up WW.

today we decided to run up to the snakes to play on wet rocks before we headed home. well while i was headed to go up WW zach and cory came down it. then we proceeded to go to eagles nest where cory and me both broke. so we went back to camp loaded up and headed home.

oh and i forgot to mention while me and zach were bashing each other i did a pit menuver on him and spun him off the rd, while some people at a nearby camp were looking at us like we were dumb

well while we were bashing each other my light came off and he picked it up and tied it to his rear view mirror. which was only fair since last night i broke out his tail light.

and no the guy for your steering was carl, this is the same cory who has broke a shaft every trip out lately
