So what would an exo cage set me back? Or a hybrid cage? That is buying or having someone build it.

To have someone do it on the side your looking at 1000-2000 for a full cage of your choice. To have a shop do it for ya your looking at 3000-6000 for one and you mostly don't design it.

Most the cages I've built have been in the 1500 range. That's materials and labor. But they were nothing elaborate.

Depends....if I'm in a hurry I just run down to marmon and get raped. But if I can wait a bit I get it from dusty at sextons. Or a couple other places I can't mention.

Couldn't I go to pick n pull and grab a cage off an XJ that already has one? That way it would bolt on.

I need to grab those shock tabs from you - maybe this weekend? Did you pick up those from that website sale for cheapo, or are they a Carl special?

Looks Looks like ATF...if it was gear oil, I do not know what caused the change. The runniness might suggest water, but when I have seen watery gear oil it has been a really light whiteish color. Been through any deep water recently? As far as new oil, I'd just do whatever the locker recommends.
