Made me double take when I saw it. Was so clean. Owner said it only had like 60k and I was just lovin the axel angles on mine

 

Alan had only 57 or something like that when he bought his and a little old man owned it now look at it hahaha.

 

Damn, the older I get the less of a chance of finding a gem like that. Eh, Im going to beat it up and change everything maybe I should leave the super clean xjs to those who will keep it original and take care of it.

 

headed out to put my air intake together... painted it last nite not sure if i like this color though

 

What color? put up some pics when your done

 

I made my own intake out of a 2.5" exhaust pipe, cone filter and a 1/4" air chuck from auto zone lol

 

i think 2.5 would be a little constricting but if it works then awesome.... here is the cowl intake all mocked up i need to put a few more coats of paint on it, and then paint the black parts of it, might put a little detail on the airbox to tie it all together, lemme know what you think

 

I like, what all did you use

 

3"x2' black abs pipe
2 90*sharp "street" elbows
a stock air intake tube(breather hose)
3" metal hole bit
4 metal screws to hold breather hose on
