thanks, havent yet am about to do that just ate lunch so back to work, but ill prolly use sheet metal or a piece of abs if i can find a good piece... all the threads ive read suggested using rtv to seal around the new hole not even sure what that is but i was thinkin of jb weld
2.5" is roughly the same size as the throttle body. But it's not a cowl intake either. An rtv is form a gasket. Liquid gasket material etc

Anyone interested in a rubicon t case? Ive got a friend tearing down a rubi. Its the equivalent to a 231 with a sye. Itll work for a newer xj. Lemme know.

23 spline with and electric speedo. And mod the linkage a bit but its mostly a direct swap with little fighting.

From reading on naxja and pirate is that it works with either. You have to massage the metal a little in the tunnel as its a little higher and a little lower then the 231 but not like the 242.

From a TJ... I have never heard of a JK... They have different style driveshafts.
