I didn't have the confidence to try and set the backlash and pre-load. If that is not done properly you can ruin you diff or destroy your gears.

Pretty crazy just how cheap they are. I picked up a front and rear for $426. I can't wait toins tall them.

One down side of lokka or Aussie brand is that theyd on't come with a new cross pin. Although not necessary, it's highly recommended. I'm going to pick up 2 hardened pins for mine.

No, I just used masking tape to make a square cut line and slowly made a mark all the way around the shaft then just went after it. It came out pretty damn square.

Whoo Hoo you will be ready for the waterfall. I just ordered my sliders from AJ's Offroad Armor and I will be ready to try it. I just need to get a couple of cans of (CrazyMan) from JeeperGB and will be set for the waterfall.

I still have a lot of things to do. I think I'm going to truss the diff I picked up from you before I install it . So I need gears and the truss and still need to build sliders and skids. Oh, and cut the fenders for flares.
It never ends!

If you ever saw the waterfall you would know what I mean about the Crazyman it's sorta like a can of whoopass. It's a crazy obstacle that only guys with lockers do and he made it look simple with only a rear LSD and a front open diff.

Default Glass 97-2001

Anyone need any glass for an XJ, I'm cleaning out Jeep stuff. Free Free Cargo area glass and door glass. it's off a 1998. 4 door. I got rid of a bunch of stuff today on CL. I now have room for the lawn tractor in the shed.

this is the waterfall purple

most of us were all beat built and belly skid plated
the black cherokee made it bone stock but it also had a well experienced driver at the wheel. its not impossible but its not for beginners. the bronco was bought full built with manual lockers and gears. but the person driving it was a beginner and this was his first trip. he had to be winched up and punctured his has tank.
was a lot of fun. this is my other crew from nm off road.
