New Mexico Roll Call.
It almost sound like your throw out bearing or pilot bushing destroyed its self or there the wrong parts. Id be intersted in at looking at it to help you figure it out if you would wanna go that route. The trans is fine its the clutch components that are not right . If synro were gone it would pop out of gear and wouldn't even allow you to shift without grinding. I've had a problem like this before with my cuz jeep. It would start and run good but to get it into reverse or sometimes even first you would have to stop and restart it in the gear. I'm almost postive that is that.

But decided it was a lot cheaper to throw 14k into my jeep than but a new car. Now she purs like a kitten and I trust her to go anywhere. Just need to fix the minor over eating problem lol.
I've spend maybe grand to get mine running good but I do all the work myself too. I paid 600 for it and it was bad beat to crap and now its my crap but I still get 16 in town on a 250,000 engine and leaks some blow by but I got another engine that is goin to be rebuild trans and case too

Anyone know anyone or if your interested. I have a 2 inch budget lift for the XJs. Brand new still in the box. I paid 100 bucks for them after shipping. It's got 2in pucks and 2in shackles. PM me an offer. I'm just trying to get rid of them. I was gonna go up to 6inches on my XJ. But decided to stay at 4.5.

Tax return money just came in, time to turn my Jeep into something beautiful.
Do you guys think a smittybilt front bumper and a JCR rear tire carrier would go well together considering one is textured and one is not?
