I've done it before. It's easy as hell. Just get a cluster with close miles, and swap em out. Plug and play. The TJ setup is just as easy. No extra Tach wires.

Yea I have a 99.

As long as the TJ cluster is from a pre-02, it's plug and play. As well as any 97+ XJ cluster is plug and play.

There's a few differences with the 97 and 98 XJ clusters, go with 99+ XJ for your 99 XJ and remember the mileage stays with the cluster so get one that's close to yours or get it flashed by a company.

Do you know a good place to get it flashed and how much it costs?

I've only seen places online. There's a few I found on E-Bay.
