Default Unsure wich one

I am considering a rusty's 6.5" long arm. Or Rubicon Express 6" long arm kit. I have seen that in the forum people have found those to kits to be both extremly reliable and resonable. I have found both to be expensive. Where do you find them so cheap?

You'd be surprised where you can go on 31s, 3" lift and 1 locker. Really surprised.

Welcome, im in gilbert. On the note of kits, nothing that big, and nothing long arm is going to come cheap...like someone else said, you get what you pay for...RE is one of the best kits out there, i would recommend it

Another thing....you can do quite a lot with a mildly lifted XJ on 31s, and a good spotter. Spend your money on a smaller lift, and all of the proper skid plates. Then you will have a pretty capable rig, and no need for a big money lift. Then add a locker when you can afford it, and you can build from that platform a lot easier. Starting this hobby at the bottom will make you a far better driver in the long run, I promise!! HTH!!

I will say, I LOVE to see the guys face who are on 8"+ LA, and open, when they can't go up something and see my little jeep walk over that same obstacle. Words aren't enough..

I'm putting a 6" lift on mine right now. I'm going the cheap route and using short arms, but I'm planning on upgrading to long arms later on after purchasing some jeep cherokee parts.
