Hey Im looking for a resonable shop around the Denver area to do some work on the rig. Looking to do some front suspension work and other things? Is there a place I should start?

My front end rides super super rough.. looking to see what i can do to soften it up and stop the squeaks. I also need to replace a u joint(?) due to a loud clucking when im in 4 wheel.

How about some details about the type of lift, shocks, etc.

Pics would help too.

I'm not a big fan of Rancho shocks in general, but the 9000's have a decent rep. Have you tried changing the settings?

How many miles on the coils?

Got any fat neighbor kids that can push your front end down while you climb under and locate the source of the noise?

No I didnt know you could change the settings... would it be better to have someone put new bushings on it and coils? or new shocks?

Don't start replacing stuff till you know exactly what needs to be replaced.

Answer these for me:

When do you hear the noise?
When turning at low speed?
High speed?
In 2 or 4 wheel drive? Both?
On flat level surfaces or when you go over a speed bump or pot hole?

My clunking noise problem:
Only in 4 wheel I hear a loud tank like sound while driving at any speed getting louder and faster as I drive faster. it is on flat ground both driving straight and while turning. I havent gone in 4 wheel since I have heard the sound.

My front end:
Sounds like squeaks are coming from my control arms.. sounds like old rubber stretching when any flex is happening. Also a loud, hollow thud sound when going over larger bumps. Sounds like its coming from either coils or shocks.

Take a look at the upper and lower control arm bushings and the front drive shaft u-joints.
