I'm in SE Aurora, If you want to bring it by, I can tell you what is wrong. I can't do any work right now because my back is messed up real bad, but I know a guy that has a small shop nearby and is reasonable. He used to work for one of the Jeep dealers, so has lots of Cherokee experience. He treated me right when I needed some work done after I hurt my back and couldn't do it myself. Anyway I would be more than happy to check it out for you for free so you know what is wrong before you go to a shop, and that way they will not be able to try and sell you repairs that you don't need. I'm very experienced, had jeeps since I was 18, and I'm about to turn 61.

Awesome! Thanks for the reply! I did find out the problem thanks to xjbones. I blew my t-case. I would need a new one put on as well as my SYE to be put on the new t-case.
Also looking to get all new bushings in my front end replaced.

Buckley and Dartmouth, My wife works at the King Soopers at Hampton and Tower, so her XJ is in the lot there all the time, and I bought mine from another employee there, but it has changed a lot since then. We should get together some time to talk XJs since we are not to far apart. Would have to be soon though as I'm going in for back surgery soon.

Got AJ superrails as gift(saw thread with your sliderz and kicking myself) and friend that was helping me was wining about cold and changed his mind about helping but we drilled a few holes into unibody not lined up with the pinch seam. Its just enough that when I line it up with the pinch seam the bolts won't self thread so it needs to be welded. I picked up tnt unibody stiffeners to weld to.
