Its legal to shoot anywhere in the national forest as long as it is not specifically closed to shooting. You can check the forest service website. Left hand is open still. If you don't pick up your brass I will

Yeah.. i think i got their first batch w/the carbon fiber finish sometime around Dec. Believe it or not, i liked the plain grey. this one is growing on me though.

So 4.56 or 4.88's with 35's? And what brands should I try and get?

In my opinion. I feel like 4.88 are not the best idea in a 30. The pinion gear is so damn small at that point that the riak of gear failure is definitely at its peak in that axle. I run 4.56 and they run great on the trails.

My main reason is to gain back some mileage, but still be able to do some crawling.

I've got 4.88s. If you do mostly highway driving and it's a dd, I'd probably look at 4.56.
