If you like local beer, there are TONS of breweries in the Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins area!
Colorado is ranked #3 in the USA for beer...........Both Quality, and Quantity!

Tons of local food and actual local food. Tons of animal farms around so the meat is really good quality, as well as other stuff. I don't eat much meat anymore but I've found some good stuff around here due to hunters & smaller non-factory farms.

Also tons of breweries. Go to Denver, Boulder, or Fort Collins and you can probably walk between a few great ones. Oskar Blues is in Lyons I think too. Fort Collins has several other good ones besides New Belgium but they are a fun visit.

Edit you beat me to it! HAHA!

The Oscar blues in Longmont is probably closer to Greeley. The rib house in Longmont is real good. Avery brewery, twisted pine, Budweiser is cool because it's huge. Take the Brewmaster tour but you have to make reservations for that. Left hand is in Longmont. The pumphouse is good for food and beer. Best fried chicken I ever eat was at the post in Lafayette. Gravity has decent beer. Odd13 isn't bad. Session in boulder. New Belgium, odells. I'm not sure where else you'll be. There isn't much in Greeley or Loveland. Avery is the best though between all of those. If you go to the springs Rocky mountain and trinity are my favorites even though trinity is full of hippies the sure Make awesome beer.

Sounds Like I should go to Avery in Bolder and go through Longmont on the way there or back to hit Oskar Blues and LeftHand.

Also thought about hitting estes park while there, I saw this place has Jeep rentals

Even if you can't go to the brewery itself, Left Hand Brewery makes some okay stuff, and they're local.

I don't drink anymore, but, when I did, their Milk Stout was the only beer I could stand. It's...tasty, for a beer-type drink.

That's my favorite of Left-Hand's brews.............................It is buttery smooth for a stout!
