Wave springs in warn hubs bring the suck when they suddenly decide they are too weak to keep your hubs engaged while climbing steep hills in the National forest while snow bashing ...the trip backwards was a fun ride .
Since you are working on a D44 I figured I'd ask... What is the least expensive way to mount a D44 in an XJ?
I assume if it can be found reasonably priced a Waggoner axle, then a set of coil buckets from Ballistic Fab... But then what about the UCA mounts, especially the one on the pumpkin?
