Hey guy/gals,

I know it is a bit early, but I get back from Afghanistan during the start of winter and would like to know what are the better winter trails. I have been here for 6 months and am dying to go trail riding. Plus I got one of my buddies to by an XJ and working on a few more to do the same. haha. Hope some of yall can help me out. Thanks

 

middle st vrain/coney flats is awesome in winter.

 

Unless the ledge is covered in ice like last year when we all went.

Thanks again. I have done eagle rock in the winter and it was really fun. I elk hunted up on big horn sheep mountain last year. all of that area is nice when there isnt much snow.

 

Went into the crossing with exhaust....came out without. couldnt find it under the 6 inch thick ice. AMAZING winter wheeling tho

Yeah man will do. There is 4 of us that are deployed that all own a form of jeep. Did you just get to Carson, and when are you all Deploying next hopefully not when we get back. That would suck.

 

Just got here in February, no signs of deployment in the near future. Going to ntc in October, but as op4, no big deal. Let me know when you are close. I will try to get a group together to make it that much funner.
