OK guys... The Super Blue Blood Moon Eclipse is tonight... Well actually 4:45 am to 7:00 am tomorrow morning Az. time. I'll be up having coffee trying to get a shot or two.
early....but I'll try to take a peek at it too. Don't currently have a camera here that would capture it worth a darn though. lol
I'm going to try with my phone to see if it does any good. If not then I will break out one of the cheap digitals. The problem is going to be without a flash the exposure, even digital is going to be slow. So it is going to be hard to get a stable picture without a tripod. I think I have one I might locate here though.
Got my alarm set for 4:30am so I can hop in the Jeep and get to the top of the mountain for a good peek. Don't have to be to work until 9 so I can do this and then come home and get ready for work. The forecast says 52 degrees at 5am, I won't even need a jacket!

go ahead and rub it in your dirty dog... lol... up North here I think the 50's is what it's supposed to be for the daytime high. lol.
I will probably throw and eyeball on it... but not as impressed. as the combo of blue and blood moon makes it look like a "la luna del cacciatore", only not as bold.
Still because the last one was in 1866, why not. lol.

Lol... You have that elevation messing with you up there Rocket. But I think for me it is the eclipse more than anything else with this event. And I'm up at 2:30 anyways.
It wasn't an ap. All the times I Googled it before it said to open the camera then click on "Mode" and then click "Pro". They even showed a picture of the "Mode" button. Well mine doesn't have a button that says "Mode." Maybe it is because mine is the Active version that is water proof??? Dunno. But tonight I was looking at it and basically just decided to try touching everything on the screen to see what happens. Well... as you will see in the pic below, my "Mode" button was a little tiny dot that was not labeled. It's the dot below the tip of the knife. Now that I know this it is simple but I just never thought to click on that little dot before. I must be getting old. LOL.
