Does anybody have a good referral for getting window tint done. Remove existing and install new. Most of the places I've looked want $400-$500 all said and done.

 

If your in the west valley, this guy does it out of his home near 35th ave abd thinderbird rd. He told me to remove the old tint, and retint in ANY color my 4dr xj would cost $225. He sounded very professional and on craigslist he had pictures of a cherokee he did and it looked very nice. Heres his number 602-696-4367. He also takes most major credit and debit cards.

 

Does anybody know the exhaust diameter for a '99 xj ?? I'm replacing the muffler but am uncertain about the size.

 

I believe all cherokees were 2.25"

I didn't have any tint on, he did 5% all around, 15% on the front two, and a 5% strip on the windshield. $225 out the door IIRC. The shop does high end work on very pricey vehicles, so he uses pretty high quality material. I love it.

 

Why don't you remove the tint yourself. I pulled Mine off using a heat gun razor blade and soap and water. Took 2 hrs. YouTube tint removal lots of hints. Or i could help you out if needed.
