I will check out some of the possible sites this afternoon by making some phone calls to see what the conditions are. It is highly unlikely there will be snow in the Dunes area. Jarbidge might have snow in the higher els, Fairfield is highly likely. I'll let you know.

Mike, sure you can ride with me. There is a possibility that my niece might want to come along, but at any rate you are welcome.

Stay tuned.

Votes are in from my camp and it sounds like Jarbidge gets the nod. Let me know if conditions are favorable for that one?

Why? Are you having caster/alignment issues?

No someone put 5.5 inches of lift and stock length lower control arms which pushed my front axle back and destroyed the front drivline

Damn! Hopefully she's OK?! Trucks are pretty easy to replace; a good wife, notsomuch...

Pretty sure we'll be putting many more trips together. Now that work has slowed down for me, I'd like to be getting out at least once per month, and it sounds like Dirtster has more than enough places on tap to keep the list full.

Hey There! I was just wondering where you've gone wheeling in the Jarbidge area? I spend a lot of time down that way myself and would enjoy exchanging notes on trails in the area.

Okay. Jarbidge it is. It is forecast for a high of 37 and 20% chance of snow for TF. Jarbidge could be colder. Come prepared. I will check if the cafe will be open in Jarbidge and let you know (I'm already thinking of lunch).

I'm thinking of meeting in Rogerson along side the road (Hwy 93) because the turn off for Jarbidge is at Rogerson. How about being there at about 9:00?

Mike, I can pick you up when I go through Filer at about 8:30. Let me know where to go. Be ready. I'm not sure I still have your cell number.

Rteecher: I'm still learning the area at Jarbidge. One area I want to check out is the Elk Mtn area in addition to the higher els coming out of Jarbidge toward Elko. I have wheeled somewhat in that area just out of Jarbidge. There is also an old road going out of Murphy Hot Springs that sounds good. Hey, why don't you join us and see for yourself. It sounds like you should lead the charge.

Again, my cell number is 421-3286. Toby: call me so I have your cell number.

Toby: do you have a CB in your tow rig? There is no cell coverage in Jarbidge. Having some extra gas wouldn't hurt either.

No CB in the tow rig... I think we have a couple of those Motorola 2-way radios though, I'll have to dig around a bit toninght. Any chance you have one of those?

If we meet up there ~9am, how long of a day are you planning to make out of it? Just trying to figure out food/snacks for the kids...

Toby: is 9:00 too early? If so, you set the time. I was thinking that we would probably want to head back mid to late afternoon depending on what we find and conditions. The Red Dog in Jarbidge will be open so we can eat lunch there if desired. I'm going to bring a lunch and snacks just in case.

I do have two way radios, but Mike, if you have a set then bring em. I still don't know where to pick you up.

Sounds like a fun day in the making. Looking forward to it. I will be working today from 4PM to 9PM so I won't answer my phone during that time. You can always leave a message. Tracy 421-3286
