I would but I am working thru the weekend.

I think I am going to be out-flexing my front brake lines now with new lower arms and I haven't had time to check them. Would not be fun to fine out on the trail.

Since you are locked you can truly say you like to get out of 2 wheel drive..

Finally got my front hidden hitch installed..now time to set up the power cable to the front and rear of the little 29" tired xj for the winch..

I will be painting the hooks and hitch receiver white to blend in to keep that sleeper look Im going for.

With this build I wanted to have the capability to move the winch front to rear when needed on the trail and also not have the weight on the vehicle when just using it as a DD.

We have done this on several of the vehicles we take on the trail and also makes it easy to swap winches if we run in to an issue with one while pulling..get a failure grab another, slide it in, plug it up and continue with the pull.

Plus how many times do you need to winch backwards instead of forward...we are usually going forward when we get stuck...

That's exactly what I wanna do which is why I did a receiver in the front bumper. Make sure to let us know how it goes and post pics!

Just get the wires run to the front with a disconnect and swing by and grab my winch, cradle, and recovery bag when you are hitting something serious...I have a 25ft power cable Im setting up to use like jumper cables with disconnects for the rear. It will be carried in a bag and just used when needed. I was going to do a full run under the XJ and mount it but why?

I have two friends who have the power cables runs but dont own a winch, they either borrow one of ours who do have them in a cradle or we just pull it out when they need it and plug it in their hitch..

I am selling a 4.0L out my old 1999 XJ. It was running strong before I crash my Cherokee. It has about 266,000 miles. I have a hoist so all you need to bring is something to haul it. Also I will consider any fair offers or trades for XJ parts like bumpers, etc..

PM, call or text (360) 931-4595

Forms of payment excepted: Cash, Paypal, and Square (credit/debt cards).

Default Window switches

FYI,
I repair 97 - 01 window switches so if any of you are in need send me a message @ 360-931-4595. Also the mail man hit me up about tuning his CB radio set-up. Which gave me an idea to start offering my services. Of coarse time is money so there would be a fee but for my fellow Jeep lovers I would offer a discount. Additional, for easy of payment I am set-up to except Paypal and Credit/debt card using Square card reader.

Looks like lots of fun. great looking XJ. Man that thing has some massive suspension articulation.

Can't wait to get one to build.

What he said! That's awesome man.

Also I tried finding an answer online but maybe I was asking the wrong way but can you throw D44 shafts into stock Axle housing on a 90XJ? Or do you have to get a whole set? Shafts and Housing?

Well damn. That kinda sucks to hear. Was hoping it would be as easy as axle swapping. Not the whole thing. But I thought so.

14" worth. If I would break down and buy new front brake lines then I could get close to what the rear is pulling
