I've come to the conclusion that the AC in my 97 is never going to work again...I've found extensive wiring issues with the HVAC system that are the result of the PO doing some sort of a "repair" half assed, which burned up a bunch of wires. Anyways
Does anyone know of any XJ's for sale in the las vegas area WITH good working A/C that I could buy as a driver (2wd is not perfered, but isn't a deal breaker)?
Just looking for a good reliable driver with A/C.

Let me know, either email me at johnybsic@gmail.com or PM me. Thanks guys!

So I'm thinking that when I take my XJ off the streets (When I buy a new car) I might swap a LS. This is just me dreaming, but i might do it.

$200 LII Leaf sliders. You can see where I had to open up the shackle bolt. It wont affect your install.

So I've replaced my CPS, CTS, TPS, and unplugged my upstream O2 sensor. I think I figured out the misfire. Hopefully when I plug my O2 sensor back in it doesn't start misfiring again.

However I've replaced my TPS twice and I'm still getting P0122. "TPS A circuit low voltage". Any ideas??

Thinking of getting the IRO adjustable lower short control arms that have a BEND and then adjustable uppers.

How are the control arms with a bend compared to just straight arms?? My thoughts would be that they give more flex over straight and would improve ride quality over straight arms.

I'm wanting to go with 3"-3.5" of lift and 33" tires.

/ straight arms just seem more jarring on bumps. Compared to this _/ where it seems like it will articulate a ton better.

Maybe my thought process is wrong.

Did you look over the TPS pigtail really good? I did some reading and this came up multiple times, checking the wiring just behind the fuel rail for rubbing on the manifold and anywhere else.

The bend in the arms should only give you extra clearance. the only way I can imagine it helping articulation(meant to say ride, not articulation) is if the arm actually flexes, which I don't think they do nor would you want them to.

Edit: They will help articulation due to better joint clearance at the mount because of the arm angle leaving the mount.

I was under the assumption that a curved arm has no benefits over a straight arm. They both mount at the same point therefore have the same arc of travel.

Checked. Followed the TPS wire as far back as I could (just passed the valve cover on the passanger side. It has 3 wires going to it 2 red and 1 brown/yellow stripe. I put some dielectric grease on the connection. Still no changes. OBD reader shows code is still stored, but no CEL. I'm going to drive it for a bit and see if anything pops up again.

Oh and it started sputtering again when I plugged the upstream O2 back in. Grabbed an NTK from NAPA today. We'll see
