Yup le madre springs to be exact! Never had a problem getting to the trail head before must be the recent rains we were having. Lotta loose rock areas. Anyway you live and you learn I guess. The jeep guy gave me his card and told me to invite him if we ever did a run....so question is when is the next run

You're part of flat4! I know a lot of the guys in that club. Great group of peeps! Also, welcome to the Cherokee forums!

I see your Xterra... Looks like my old one. Ever wheeled with the Nissan club in Vegas? The original club from 10 years ago, not the ones in it now.

This is more active for XJ owners than JeepForum is. I think I'm the only one here not in Vegas.
Did you sell the Xterra? Mine was a 06. Miss the storage they have.

Yeah I'm part of FlatFour in Vegas. I don't always make it to the meet since they're Friday nights downtown.

We do miss the Xterra, space and capability but not the 14mpg and mud terrains constantly singing. We didnt off-road for over a long time when we moved to Vegas and I'd been wanting a WRX. Never really did anything with the group but we went out a lot with the Tucson group (good peeps).

The forum here seems pretty active. I've been bookmarking a ton of stuff. Just picked up the Jeep tonight finally! Going to Autozone friday and buying a bunch of stuff.... busy weekend ahead

Got my Bluetooth reader working with my iphone. After I ordered it I realized it wasn't compatible with iPhones. But because I'm jailbroken, I was able to get it working. Refresh rate is pretty good. Cleared my codes.

Getting a p0455
And p0303

I hate cels

Yea it's been running rough. I replaced the spark plugs with no fix. May try to replace the injectors next. It's been running pretty hot too. I need to get this head rebuilt soon.

Oh and the p0455 started as the small leak code and has graduated to the gross leak code. Either need a smoke test or just need to find the crap hose

EDIT: found my answer...

Was lookin for a good custom fit sun shade recommendation. Didn't realize Heatshield made one for a '98 Cherokee. BTW, the one for my WRX is a very good fit in case anyone wants to upgrade.

Also, do we have a WeatherTech rep or a discount?

Came up on a K&N intake off of a explorer sport trac and made it work on my XJ
Also just grabbed on of those dumb little spectre mini filters for the breather I'm about to go put on

Anyone have a single din CD player? Aux is wanted and maybe Bluetooth ready. Obviously needs to work and be in nice condition.
