right beside the the radio on driver side the is a little rectangle you could probably fit three there but you would have to cut the hole

Hey fellas,

I am somewhat new to the area and the area forum. I am looking for some advice. I want to fab up a roof rack for my XJ. Its more of a trail rig than crawler. I know I can make one out of conduit but I am not a huge fan of how it connects. I don't have a welder but a buddy of mine has one and would be willing to help me out.

Where can I get some tubing for my rack in the area?

I have heard of people welding conduit to make their racks. Has anyone done this?

I would appreciate all and any advice. I like the area thread!

Oh and I know you guys would like a pic f my rig but I cant figure out how to add it. So advice on that would be nice also. I have a couple pics on my computer but the thread asks for a web address....?

 

If anybody has any welding projects going on let me know, I could lend a hand with the metal work and pick up a few pointers. I am new to welding but making good strides.

 

Yea iOS version is acting up. When you post and hit send ( pops up saying something ) then you hit cancel and your post is there. I'm like wtf.
