with coil packs can you pull them to see if they are giving spark when cranking like a normal spark plug wire?

I'm afraid you all may be right on it maybe the computer that will suck. Anybody got a known-good ECM that they are you wouldn't mind bringing over and testing with?

If it's just a test I have my 96 no codes no issues.

I have no idea. I wouldn't think they are compatible. Wasn't sure what year you had.

I would certainly appreciate borrowing your computer. I think that would point me in the right direction more than anything. If it starts...new computer. If not...new coil pack.
