So the jeep is down. When I go to take off from a stop it's like as if your holding in a clutch but once you get moving it drives normal. Torque converter?

 

Have you tried shifting manually, starting in 1-2? Mine blew a fuse for the neutral safety switch because of the low washer fluid light flashing . Caused the same issue. It wouldn't downshift unless I did it manually

You shouldn't lose too much fluid.
But if you're worried let gravity take effect, jack up front of vehicle so fluid falls to back of pumpkin

 

Yeah I actually texted them already and still waiting for a reply back from them. It sounds almost too good to be true TBH.

 

If you do ****** that up that would have been an awesome steal especially for vegas prices...especially if it's in sound running condition

U guys think it's ok to mount a winch bumper without the tie in brackets for now? Reason is one of my steering bolts snapped off when I tried to do the drivers side tie in now I'm worried about the other bolts snapping as well. The remaining piece of the bolt is lodged in the steering gear box. Was wondering if I could get away with mounting the bumper without it for now

 

Interested in shocks but won't have money come pay day. Also interested in axles but still won't have money till pay day since I had to drop some doe on a tranny rebuild for my daily driver

Just got back from St George and there are a ton of XJs up there if you are interested. From stock to an insane green one on 37s that looked like its on steroids.

 

You can mount the bumper, but you will have to remove the gearbox later anyways. Just get a spare box at the yard, get the frame tie in since it comes with new hardware and you will be set. Or maybe Allusion has a gearbox for sale????????

 

I haven't lost interest in the head and header...some wedding items came up and drained the bank account. Still holding my word though.
