Yep that's the only numbers, and they are written not punched. Looks like the rear diff has been serviced before. lots of old orange gasket maker had to be removed.

 

It sounds to me like that would be the date that it was serviced. Like February of 2011. Just an idea.

 

The lady and I are going hiking on Saturday. We want to hike on top of red rock and take Rocky Gap to the ridge. Anyone want to join??

95 jeep grand Cherokee (zj)

164k miles when u bought it. 165k now.

Inline 6 4x4.

Was running pretty crappily and brakes only worked the first time you pushed them.

Since I bought it I've done these things;

Oil change and new Bosch filter.
New Bosch platinum spark plugs
New Bosch wires
Top of fluids
Bleed brakes with new fluid
New air filter
New fuel filter.

That's all I've gotten done so far. Got a huge list of things still do tho.

5" lift kit
35" tires
Bedline floors inside.
Front and rear bumpers
Roof rack
And other miscellaneous things.

Paid $1600 for it.

 

 

So anyone on here good with rear axles, and bearing swaps?

 

Anyone have an extra electric fan they'd be willing to part with?

Does anyone have any experience with cam synchros? I have a new one to put in but I am a bit unsure or myself on the install.

 

New cylinder head. All new gaskets. New water pump. New battery. New crank position sensor. New cam synchro and sensor. New plugs.
STILL NO START!!!

 

So it cranks? Does it have spark?

 

I will go back and recheck it but don't before I put the cam sensor and synchro in there was no spark now I've put that in and I would be willing to bet still no spark because it will not start with fuel down the intake
