Thinking about ordering some frame reinforcements specifically this but I don't have access to a welder nor can I weld yet(need to take some classes). Is their a local shop you guys would recommend or someone you know who can help a guy out?
I want to do this before adding some AJ supersliders.
These plates cover the area where the stock lower control arms mount so I would assume the best thing to do is cut off the forward 9" piece until I go long arm and then when I LA and hack the stock mounts off I can have the 9" piece welded on and fish plate the pieces together.
I plan on picking up an IRO 5.5 LA kit, IRO OTK steering and some 35"s eventually but I want to get my axles squared away(8.25 swap), frame stiffening, sliders, bumper/winch?, and general maintenance first.
