Sounds like an easier fix than I thought.

Replaced the coolant bottle on the closed system, did a coolant flush and cleaned it out with some sort of cleaner. Hopefully I won't over heat in de ja vu's parking lot again..... I looked like a creeper haha! Let's go wheeling. Text me and don't be afraid! 702-478-0047

Anyone here familiar with dune buggies? Helping a coworker rebuild his and trying to find some gears for a Super Bus axle ??? Honestly never heard of it before. Currently running 4.37 and need 4.63 to put it back in the torque curve.

Took the chassis to powdercoat this morning and should have it back on Friday. Hopefully this will be ready before the scheduled Halloween test run.

Anytime after 5 since traffic sucks now after work.

Rob, the part didn't arrive today and 3 UPS trucks delivered already. Waiting on the tracking number from RC but it should be here tomorrow for sure.

There are two places in town you can look for Volkswagen parts the first is Nevada off road buggy over on Valley View just off of Desert Inn and the second is Myers Western imports down on Boulder Highway. He must be putting together a long swingarm package if he's using the super bus trans. The bus transmissions are super heavy duty because of the figure 2 liter engine that they came attach to.

I recommend butches speed shop first for any questions you need answered. Me an my dad have always went to him since his customer service is outstanding and knowledge too. Meyers can suck a fat one. And Nevada off road is full of ****** depending on whose helping you. That's just my 2 cents. Me an my dad built a mid travel swing axle rail 1835 dual 40 webers closed ratio 3rd an 4th for the dunes. 3rd and 4th sound the same in Rpm range which is what you need in the sand. Along with the right paddle tires to go with whatever motor/ tranny combo. If you have any questions, you have my number. Feel free to call.
