I did make it out yesterday, pics and trail info are on my build page.

Thunderstorm happened instantly so we turned around because of flash floods. Some parts are washed out about 5 miles past Peek A Boo Canyon but passable if you can navigate the trail.

 

Are you willing to sell the rack separately

I get between 15-19 depending on if the rack is on it or not. I also have a brand new 8k lb smittybilt x2o winch if your interested i'll do 1500 with the winch and rack. or 1200 without.

 

So here's the skinny on my XJ. It's got 186K miles it has flowmaster exhaust, stage 2 jet chip, 4.0 throttle body, throttle body spacer and cold air intake. It has factory 4.10 gears so it's not a pig on the highway but it's no racecar either. It gets up and goes for a 4 popper. I also have some other parts that come with it for the right price. The rack I would consider parting with if someone doesn't want it when they buy it. I am trying to get rid of it because the wife says something needs to go and I need money to put into a new Jet boat I bought... (Boat= break out another thousand...) pm me and we'll see if we can work something out.

Tire carrier goes with the jeep. Maybe whoever buys it you can talk them out of it... however it was a pretty simple build. I bought all the parts to fab it up off AtoZ fabrication. spindle kit and rear bumper mounts.

 

Looks like you had a great time! Hope to join you soon...I been lazy on the lift install. Everything is off and ready to be bolted on the front...just need to find the motivation to drive all the way to Mcfaddendales for replacement hardware and pick up some hockey pucks for some bump stops since I got everything off...
